In my previous posts i already explained how Power Line Communication is carried out using existing Power Lines / Transmission Lines. While discussing it was also mentioned that PLC System comprises of Outdoor Equipment in addition with other components.

Following is the List of equipment covered under Outdoor Equipment.

Line Traps / Wave Traps are used to Block Telecommunication Signal from entering into Substation.

Capacitive Voltage Transformer serves TWO purposes. Used for Metering and provides easy path to High frequency Signal.

Line Matching Unit, like CVT also serve multi purposes. It is used for Impedeance Matching between Transmission Line and High frequency Coaxial Cable and more importantly provides protection against High Voltage Hazards

  1. I think what you wrote was very reasonable. However,
think on this, what if you added a little content? I ain’t saying your information isn’t solid., but suppose you added a headline to maybe grab a person’s attention? I mean Outdoor Equipment – IoT, SCADA, and Telecommunications is a little vanilla.
You ought to look at Yahoo’s home page and watch how they create news headlines to get people to click.
You might add a video or a related picture or two to grab readers interested about everything’ve got to say.
Just my opinion, it might make your blog a little bit more interesting.

  2. Its such as you read my mind! You seem to understand a lot approximately
this, like you wrote the e-book in it or something. I believe that you just can do with a
few percent to force the message house a bit, but other
than that, this is great blog. A fantastic read. I’ll definitely be back.

  3. Hello there I am so grateful I found your web site, I really found you by accident, while I was researching on Yahoo for something else, Anyhow I am here now and would just like to say thanks a lot for a incredible post
and a all round enjoyable blog (I also love the theme/design),
I don’t have time to go through it all at the minute but
I have bookmarked it and also added in your RSS feeds, so when I have time I
will be back to read a great deal more, Please do keep up
    the superb jo.
